Recommended dishes:
Fried egg roll
Beef short rib with rice or vermicelli
Combo pho
It's not the best pho in the world BUT the broth is clean, the price is good for the huge portion, and their staff is very friendly. Highly recommend their fried egg rolls. They hand make the fried egg rolls in the kitchen instead of using store bought. Love how they have vegetarian options! Veggie pho, tofu banh mi, etc.
An affordable, delicious pho/vermicelli in Belltown! -

My mom wanted some simple Vietnamese dishes and didn't want to deal with parking in the International District. Upon yelping for open restaurants near my apartment, we decided to try this place out. I wasn't expecting this place to be busy at 7 p.m. on a Saturday , but there were quite a few customers for being in Belltown on a weekend after dinner rush. It was your typical service at an Asian restaurant where the server doesn't yap your ear off with small-talk. She was courteous and fast despite being the only server there.
We got the pho, grilled pork vermicelli bowl, spring roll, and egg roll. The broth of the soup was bomb... Not too salty and flavorful. Upon commenting about the broth, the server told me they brew new broth every morning for hours before the restaurant opens. The portions were really big and entrees decently priced. I was surprised by the amount of food I got since I've found that food in the downtown area tends to be on the smaller side for a high price. It was $9 something for the big ass vermicelli pork bowl. This would be a solid and decently priced lunch spot if I worked closer to downtown, seems like they get pretty busy though.
As for authenticity... It doesn't have the more "advanced" dishes like bun bo hue, banh cuon, banh beo, etc. But if you're just looking for your standard pho, vermicelli bowl, meat + rice dishes, and some other common Viet foods then this is your spot. Can't beat the food quality and portion for the area. There are a few restaurants in this vicinity and I'd highly recommend this spot over the Korean one next door. -

Under $10 for a lunch in Seattle in 2019 that's not fast food.
I got a bowl of pho and a pork bahn mi. Pho was really good portion as others have mentioned, soup seems to lack a bit of umami but it could be my tongues too skewed to saltier processed taste as good of recent.
Bahn mi itself was great and had lot of meat pork were well marinated the mayo like sauce spread works really well. Like their name it's a place to casually drop by for locals -

We stumbled upon this Pho place while walking in Belltown trying to land a place for lunch. I ordered vermicelli tofu + one egg roll. My friends ordered beef pho and pork ba minh. Everyone loved the food!
I especially loved my tofu vermicelli. It was so flavored and not boring at all like how normally tofu is. I am pleasantly surprised and I will be back again.
Spring rolls were good too! -

I'm trying to find the best pho in Seattle! This spot is close to my new place and seemed like a pretty hole-in-the-wall kind of restaurant, so I decided to come in and see what they had to offer. The space does look a little older, but the people inside were inviting and quick to get our orders, refill waters, and check up on us. There were a couple of tables when we arrived, and people coming in frequently to pick up to-go orders.
I ordered the pho with well done steak and meatballs, which is what I usually order wherever I go. It came out quickly, and had a good amount of noodles to broth ration. I do wish that they gave me more vegetables, as my boyfriend and I were sharing the plate of them. We thought about asking for more, but decided it was good enough for the time being. Their chopsticks are the wooden use-once kinds, which my boyfriend said he didn't like because he could taste the wood flavor. In Portland, all of the shops have the plastic reusable ones. The broth was rich, but not the best I've ever tasted. The noodles were chewy but not hard, and they had all the sauces to put in to create more depth and spice.
When we finished and got the bill, I hadn't known, but it was happy hour! So, my bowl of pho was only about $7.00. For that price, you really can't beat it for a bowl of pho in the city of Seattle. It's nice it's walking distance, so when I need my pho fix, I know where to go for a cheap and easy meal.
